Mbappé really enjoys Trent nutmeg at Real Madrid training
Ahead of Friday’s LaLiga clash with Real Betis in Seville, their was some fun being had in the preparation.
Kylian Mbappé couldn’t hide his reaction when Trent Alexander-Arnold was caught out during what seemed to be another light-hearted training drill at Real Madrid on Thursday.
Everyone loves a nutmeg
The moment came in a classic pre-match “ronda,” where players form a circle and attempt to keep possession while one or two chase in the middle. Trent found himself within the crowd and on the wrong end of a slick nutmeg, drawing immediate laughs from teammates.
Mbappé appeared to enjoy it more than most, pointing and laughign as the ball rolled cleanly through Trent’s crossing legs. The England international tried to keep a straight face, resisting the urge to react. These things happen... but we never seem to tire of them.
The clip quickly made the rounds online, offering a glimpse of the relaxed mood in the camp ahead of Friday’s clash with Real Betis. Is that feeling due to their not being much still to play for?
