Mexico wants to arrive at the FIFA World Cup in November in the best shape possible because the team managed by Gerardo Martino left a lot of doubts during the qualifiers. El Tri has not playing well in the past year-and-a-half and Martino is under pressure to improve the team prior to traveling to Qatar in November.

Last month El Tri learned their faith in the upcoming World Cup and they were drawn to Group C alongside Argentina, Poland and Saudi Arabia. The CONCACAF side will make their debut in the campaign on 22 November against Poland at 974 stadium.

Confirmed friendlies for El Tri

On Tuesday, the Mexican national team confirmed five exhibition matches between April and August. El Tri begin their preparation against Guatemala on 27 April at Camping World stadium in Florida, but since it is not during the international break, Gerardo Martino will use Liga MX players only.

The summer will be very busy for the CONCACAF side because on 28 May they will play against Nigeria at AT&T stadium and three days later they will travel to Arizona to play against Uruguay. Then on 5 June Mexico will travel to Chicago to play against Ecuador and conclude in Atlanta against Paraguay on 31 August.
