Real Madrid draw up midfield targets as ‘dream move’ for Chelsea midfielder revealed
Reports suggest that Enzo Fernández would be open to a move to Real Madrid this summer.

Enzo Fernández is open to joining Real Madrid in a move that has been described as a “dream”, according to reports.
According to the report, Real Madrid have already started to draw up a list of midfield targets, with a controlling presence a distinct absence in the side that has struggled at various points this season.
It is widely reported that under previous manager Xabi Alonso, the idea of bringing in a midfielder who could dictate the pace and flow of a game was on the to-do list, but a move never materialised. Instead, the management opted to move Arda Güler into a deeper position, with somewhat limited success. Former Real Sociedad midfielder Martín Zubimendi was heavily linked with a move to Madrid before ending up in the Premier League with Arsenal.

Enzo speaks on Real Madrid speculation
Now, however, one year on, a midfielder appears to be the priority, with a report from TalkSport suggesting that Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández would consider a transfer to the Spanish capital “a dream”.
While on international duty with Argentina, the World Cup winner was coy about his future in London, saying “we’ll see after the World Cup.”
He made clear that he and the club have “had zero talks as of now,” adding that “honestly” there was nothing with Real Madrid either. “Now I am focused on Chelsea and what’s left in the last few games this season,” he concluded.
The report also adds that Real Madrid who have competition for Enzo, as PSG are said to be interested in the player. As of yet, they have not made a move to secure his signature and the player has not directly told Chelsea he wants to leave. With his current Chelsea deal running until 2032, the English club are in a strong position should a bidding war break out in the summer.
