Real Madrid possible Champions League starting XI against RB Leipzig
Ancelotti will be forced to rotate his side with Camavinga set to start in the center with Asensio on the right flank and Courtois making a return to the Champions League.
Vinicius Jr is the only guaranteed start for Tuesday’s Champions League clash in Germany with coach Ancelotti confirming his presence in the press conference: “He’s going to play, he’s not tired”. The rest of the team will see a series of rotations given a series of key players absent through injury. Madrid only need a solitary point to be crowned leaders of the group but must play Leipzig without Modric, Valverde and Benzema.
Asensio is in line to make his first start of the season with the player from Mallorca expected to get the nod over Eden Hazard. In midfield, Tchouameni and Kroos are set to play with Camavinga expected to complete the midfield trio.
Courtois is expected to man the posts with the Belgian now fully recovered from his sciatica problem. With Militao and Alaba set to be rested, Mendy and Lucas Vazquez are set to operate on either flank with Nacho and Rüdiger at the heart of the defence as Carvajal is set to have a breather.
