Christian Pulisic has been given the green light to leave Chelsea during the upcoming transfer window, but not a lot of top tier clubs are interested in signing the United States international. It has been reported that Juventus will no longer pursue the 23-year-old, but AC Milan could provide him with the minutes he is looking for.

The ‘Old Lady’ are expecting to recover Italian winger Federico Chiesa, who is edging to his comeback, and for that reason they are no longer interested in signing Pulisic. While AC Milan are worried about the future of his playmaker Rafael Leao because he recently declined a new contract extension, which his current one is set to expire in June 2024.

Pulisic linked with a move to the Serie A

Rafael Leao has been linked with a move to Manchester City, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain. The Brazilian playmaker’s current market value is $77 million, but in 18 months he will become a free agent after refusing to sign a new contract extension. Meaning that the 23-year-old will be free to do business with other clubs in January or during the summer transfer window.

This will open the door for Christian Pulisic to arrive at San Siro and join his USMNT teammate Sergiño Dest. The 23-year-old is not happy with his role as a substitute at Chelsea under new manager Graham Potter. Pulisic has made 10 Premier League appearances, but only two as a substitute for a total of 279 minutes.
