BALLON D'OR
The overwhelming victory of Real Madrid’s Vinicius in the Ballon d’Or
L’Équipe has released the results of the public poll in which readers voted decisively for Vinicius to receive the Ballon d’Or.
French outlet L’Équipe has published the results of the fan poll they conducted for the Ballon d’Or, the final results of which are being announced this evening, and it shows overwhelming support for Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. as the best player in the world.
In the fan survey Vinicius came out well ahead of Rodri, who is now the firm favourite to take the 2024 Ballon d’Or after it was revealed that neither Vinicius nor Real Madrid are making the trip to Paris for the ceremony, having understood that the Brazilian has not won.

The French publication said: “For the award to be handed out this Monday, the favorite is Vinicius Junior (24, Real Madrid).
