Vinicius makes clear statement over Real Madrid contract: “God willing...”
Following the big Champions League playoff first leg win in Manchester, the Brazilian spoke about his future in Spain, with Saudi interest high.

Vinicius, speaking to TNT after Real Madrid’s 3-2 win over Manchester City, left no doubt about his commitment to the club.
“It’s very exciting to be able to start discussions with Real Madrid about my contract extension.
“My current deal runs until 2027, but I’ve always said I want to play here for a long time, make history, and feel the love of the fans alongside the president and coaching staff,” he stated.

Vini focused on Madrid stay
“God willing, negotiations will be resolved in the coming days, and I’ll be able to stay here for much longer,” he added, making it clear that a renewal is very much on the table.
Asked by Movistar about a possible offer from Saudi Arabia, the Brazilian distanced himself from any speculation about leaving Madrid. “I don’t know anything, no one has spoken to me,” he said.
