Little time to rest in the Liga MX - less than a month after América were crowned champions in the Apertura 2023 final, the new tournament, the Clausura 2024 is about to get underway. The Clausura 2024 kicks off on Friday 12 January 2024 with Querétaro hosting Toluca in the opening game.
The Liga MX has announced the full Clausura 2024 calendar. The regular season will run until 28 April while the reigning Liga MX champions América begin the defence of their title on Saturday 13 January away at Tijuana. Chivas meanwhile open their campaign against Santos Laguna, Cruz Azul face Pachuca and Pumas host Juárez.

When are the Clausura 2024 playoffs?
The Liga MX Play-In ties will be played from 2-5 May 2024. These matches will determine the last two teams who will take part in the Liguilla.
The Clausura 2024 quarter finals will take place between 8 and 9 May with the return legs on 11-12 May. The semi-final first legs will be played on 15 and 16 May, with the return legs on 18-19 May.
The Clausura 2024 final will be played on 23 and 26 May.
