The Premier League giants need to find a player who boasts a mix of established world-class talent and high-potential.
As the dust settles on the news of the Egyptian’s departure from the Premier League side, several names area lready being linked with a potential move to Liverpool next summer to replace the ‘Egyptian King’.

Michael Olise (Bayern Munich)
Olise has emerged as the “dream” successor for many at the club and is a natural right-winger who cuts inside on his left foot, mirroring Salah’s tactical profile. He has been in sensational form for Bayern, recently eclipsing 35 goal contributions this season.
Reports suggest Liverpool are prepared to “break the bank” with a potential £174m (€200m) offer. However, Bayern is currently resistant to selling, and the lack of a release clause makes this a difficult deal to negotiate.

Yan Diomande (RB Leipzig)
The 21-year-old is widely considered the No. 1 realistic target and Diomande has had a meteoric rise at Leipzig, praised for his physical resilience and ability to create chances in tight spaces. Scouts have reportedly been “mesmerized” by his tactical intelligence and pace.
Expected to cost upwards of £85m. Liverpool has reportedly already sent scouts on multiple missions to watch him this spring.

Yankuba Minteh (Brighton)
A familiar face for manager Arne Slot. Minteh played under Slot at Feyenoord and understands his pressing system perfectly. He is seen as a high-upside project who could thrive in a more dominant team.
Brighton would likely demand around £69m. He is currently considered a “top priority” backup if the Olise or Diomande deals prove too complex.

Expect the rumour mill to click into overdrive with speculation of possible replacements for Salah set to run and run in the weeks ahead.
