Ancelotti reveals the one “right” manager he would listen to for advice
The Italian coach spoke about his experience at the top, and left us with a great line about taking advice from only one man.

When it comes to football, Carlo Ancelotti knows what he’s talking about. There are not many managers who have done what we has achieved in the game, and just about none of them have done it with the cool he has.
If I’d have smoked a cigar after winning another Champions League, I’d have been coughing like a fourth-generation chimney-sweeper. When he does it, the photo goes viral for just how suave he looks.
I think he knows it. The Italian coach is the king of keeping his cool, but he knows what he’s worth. Speaking to Brazilian outlet Folha de S. Paulo, Ancelotti decided to puff out his chest and show off his feathers. And he’s absolutely right to do so.
'É 100% certo que não sou um gênio. Mas é 100% certo que não sou tonto', diz Ancelotti. “I am 100% sure I am not a fool"
“In Italy, they say that all men want to be coaches and all women architects. I don’t know if I understand football or not, but no one can judge me on this,” he said. “The only thing that’s certain is that I’ve prepared for over 1,400 matches. That may not be enough to understand football, but it’s certainly a good amount of experience."
He then opened up on taking advice. Ancelotti named Alex Ferguson as the "only one who could really be the right person" to have the necessary experience and knowledge to teach him a new trick about the game.
“Only one person has prepared more matches than me: Alex Ferguson, who has prepared for over 2,000,” he said. "I take advice from everyone, but the only one who could really be the right person to give me advice is Alex Ferguson.
“I am 100% sure I am not a genius, but at the same time, I am 100% sure I am not a fool.”
