The cover story in today's edition of Turkish sports daily Fanatik, exclaims that the Istanbul-based outfit are eager to start negotiations with Barcelona for Arda Turan who they are keen to take on a one-year loan.
The claims are certainly eye-opening, Arda arrived in Spain from Galatasaray - the club he has never hidden his love for and one of the chief city rivals of Beşiktaş; the midfielder has even gone on record to state the almost non-existent sympathy he has for one of Gala's archenemies.
A few weeks ago, Sport reported that Borussia Dortmund are keen on taking the Turkey international while late last month, Barça president Josep Maria Bartomeu insisted that Arda was going nowhere, and that the coaching staff "are counting on him".
