Real Madrid will be without Marcelo for their weekend LaLiga encounter with Las Palmas after the Brazilian limped out of Wednesday's draw at home to Villarreal.
Taken off with calf injury
The left-back was replaced by Dani Carvajal shortly before half time at the Bernabéu after pulling up with a calf complaint, and will have tests on the issue on Friday. Nacho Fernández is in line to deputise for him at the Estadio Gran Canaria.
Casemiro, Pepe both doubts
Midfielder Casemiro, meanwhile, remains doubtful for Saturday's game after sitting out the Villarreal match with a knock picked up against Espanyol in Real's previous league outing.
The 24-year-old again trained alone on Thursday, with Pepe - who also missed Madrid's stalemate with the Submarino Amarillo - likewise forced to go through his paces away from the first-team squad. The defender's involvement against Las Palmas continues to be uncertain.
Modric back
One man set to return is playmaker Luka Modric, who was rested for the Villarreal clash.
