Cristiano open Lisbon hotel

The player from Madeira opened the second of four 'CR7' hotels on Sunday evening. The Lisbon branch opening follows the first of the chain in his native Funchal.  Future hotels are planned in Madrid and New York City.

Marcelo hoping for Betis return

The Brazilian defender is making good progress after injuring himself in the recent LaLiga game against Villarreal. Marcelo will stay working in Madrid this week and is expected to re-join normal training with the squad early next week.

Verratti flattered 

Italian player Marco Verratti has spoken about speculation linking him with a future move to the Santiago Bernabeu. "It's flattering to be linked with Real Madrid but I already play at a big club".

Casemiro on road to recovery 

It may be a matter of coincidence that Madrid's  dip in form (and results) coincided with the absence of Casemiro. The Brazilian has returned to gymnasium work but is still some way of running and re-joining the rest of the Real Madrid squad.

Kick-off time vs. Leganés confirmed

LaLiga published the kick-off times for match-day 11 last night. Real  Madrid are set to face Leganés at the Bernabeu on November 6 at 12:00. This is the first time both sides will have played each other in Spain's top flight.
