Paulo Dybala: Juventus ace picks up ankle sprain in win at Pescara
Dybala had to be replaced after suffering a knock on Saturday - four days away from his side's Champions League second leg with Barcelona.
Paulo Dybala might have handed Barcelona a Champions League boost after limping out of Juventus' Serie A clash at Pescara on Saturday afternoon.
Dybala starred in Juve's quarter-final first-leg win over Barça on Tuesday, scoring twice as the Italians earned a 3-0 lead to take to the Camp Nou next week.
Forced off at Pescara with ankle problem
But the 23-year-old had to be taken off in the 54th minute of his side's 2-0 win over Pescara after suffering an ankle knock in a challenge with Sulley Muntari.
Despite trying to play on at the Stadio Adriatico-Giovanni Cornacchia, Dybala was unable to continue and was replaced by Stefano Sturaro.
Speaking post-match, Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri revealed that the Argentine has a sprain, but was optimistic over his chances of facing Barça.
Champions League return on Wednesday
Barcelona host Juventus in the teams' Champions League last-eight second leg on Wednesday evening at 20:45 CEST.
