Sergio Ramos: "This is a chance to gift another title to our fans"
The Club World Cup awaits Real Madrid in Abu Dhabi, and the captain assured that the side are going in to it motivated after a demolition of Sevilla in LaLiga.
Real Madrid have arrived in Abu Dhabi for the 2017 Club World Cup and club captain Sergio Ramos declared the squad "really motivated" with another title up for grabs.
Club World Cup is a reward
"We were keen to get here. Being here is a reward, we have the opportunity to defend this title and win it again," said the 31-year-old defender.
Los Blancos fly east following a 5-0 victory over Sevilla in LaLiga, the best possible preparation.
"Now we have to adapt after the journey and fight for a sixth Club World Cup. We'll face up to it with a lot of enthusiasm," added Ramos, who was suspended for the visit of his former club.
Al Jazira await Real Madrid
"It's an opportunity to gift another title to our fans. We've come here really motivated after a great game against Sevilla and we're well in terms of energy levels. Now we must keep up the balance and consistency."
Zinedine Zidane's side will begin the defence of their title against local side Al Jazira on Wednesday evening.
