The World Cup winning midfielder N'Golo Kanté met a group of men in a mosque after missing his train, and then decided to spend the evening with them.
N'Golo Kanté is not only one of the best football players in the world in his position, he is also a charismatic, intimate and humble person. This is something that he picked up through his childhood, with tasks like helping his father with the rubbish bags cited as part of the reason. Today he is a world champion with France, but his teammates are quick to point to his friendly and cheerful personality. Everyone appears to love him.

We've now learned of a curious little story about the popular Chelsea star. It seems that a group of friends bumped into him in a local mosque after the player had missed his Eurostar train to Paris. The men didn't hesitate in going up to the midfielder for a chat before convincing him to go for a curry with them.
The Frenchman's acceptance, as can be seen by the social media posts, didn't end with some food. The player then sat down with his new acquaintances to watch the BBC's Premier League review show, Match of the Day. Kanté was part of the highlights package, ending on the winning side against Cardiff City earlier that day, and then following the programme the lads played a few matches of the Fifa video game.
We're pretty sure this group of friends didn't expect much more than a selfie and an autograph when they approached the player, but ended up having a night they will never forget.
