Croatia defender Dejan Lovren has taken aim at Sergio Ramos again following Croatia’s 3-2 victory over Spain in the Uefa Nations League on Thursday night.

Lovren’s ire towards Ramos has seemingly stemmed from the Real Madrid captain’s controversial challenge on Mohamed Salah in the Champions League final in May, which left the Egyptian striker with a dislocated shoulder.

And after the Croatia-Spain game, the Liverpool defender taunted and mocked Ramos and his team mates in a video he posted to his Instagram account (which can be viewed above).

“Elbowed him good,” said Lovren, seemingly citing a challenge on Ramos during the game, while making a gesture with his elbow.

“Haha! 3-2! Go ahead and talk now, buddy. Buddy! They are a bunch of pussies,” he added in reference to Ramos and his Spain team mates.

The Croatia international then proceeded to cover the Spain flag on his match jersey, while pointing at the Croatia flag, and continued: “Only this side [Croatia] is worthy. Now to beat England and walk out like a boss!”

In a further attempt to taunt the Spain captian and his team mates, Lovren also posted a picture of himself getting the better of Ramos in an aerial challenge during the game, accompanied by the message: “Good morning Croatia”.

Lovren: Ramos makes more mistakes than me

Lovren’s instagram tirade comes two weeks after an interview with Copa90, in which he criticized the Real Madrid captain for making more mistakes than he did.

"If you look at Ramos, he has many more mistakes than me. But he's at Real Madrid. Ronaldo, a couple of seasons ago, when you do a mistake, but you win 5-1, 5-2, nobody sees the mistake," he said.

When asked to respond to Lovren’s comments in a pre-match conference, Ramos decided not to add fuel to fire, saying: "I do not know if those things are said out of frustration or for other reasons. I'm not going to answer Lovren or those who want to win a front page headline or news bulletin. Let each one win things on the field.”
