Real Madrid trained on Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against Valencia at Mestalla (21:00 hours CET).
Madrid's injury list
Notable absentees were the injured Asensio, Hazard, Lucas Vázquez, James and Marcelo, who are all ruled out for Wednesday's El Clásico. The other doubt is Casemiro, who remains touch and go for both games. Zidane will decide whether to rest the Brazilian on Sunday to ensure he is fit to face Barcelona in mid-week.
Squad and formation
The rest of the squad trained normally, and were joined by Diego Altube and Javi Hernández from the ranks. On Saturday afternoon, Madrid will announce their matchday squad, which will also be without the suspended Ferland Mendy. Zidane will, therefore, have to decide whether to switch Carvajal over, call upon Nacho or opt for Militao as cover.
