Chivas owner denies physical altercation with Rodolfo Pizarro
Amaury Vergara, owner of Chivas, had to denied the rumors about an alleged physical altercation with Rodolfo Pizarro when he was playing with Guadalajara.

There was a rumor going around that Chivas owner, Amaury Vergara and Rodolfo Pizarro had a physical altercation back in 2018 after a heated discussion but it was Amaury himself who came out and denied this rumor.
This Thursday he wrote a tweet a little past midnight completely denying this information that was going around, “Rodolfo Pizarro understood what it meant being a part of Chivas in and out of the field. The information going around about him and I getting into a fight is false. The doors are always open for Pizarro if he ever wants to come back and we wish him the best always.”

Prior Amaury Vergara writing this tweet, the information going around was that Rodolfo Pizarro and the owner of Chivas got into an argument so heated that it ended in a physical fight. This was the reason why the Mexican midfielder decided to leave Guadalajara back in 2018 and sign for Monterrey, the team that paid $17 million for him.

This rumor was getting so big that Chivas president had to come out to deny it. Back in 2017, Rodolfo Pizarro was one of the players that told the press that they were not getting paid their bonuses for winning two titles in the Clausura 2017.
Another version of why Pizarro decided to leave Chivas after winning everything in 2018, was that he was ‘sacrificed’ so the team could get $17 million back so the owner at that time, Jorge Vergara, could get money to end his marriage with Angelica Fuentes.
