Partner of Ronaldo's mother gives update after stroke
Dolores Aveiro's partner, visibly shaken, spoke to the press and gave an update on her healthy after she suffered from a stroke on Tuesday.
Cristiano Ronaldo's family suffered a fright this week when his mother, Doloros Aveiro, was hospitalised after suffering a stroke.
The Juventus striker flew straight to Funchal to be by her side and with his family and sent an updating thanking everyone for their concern but requesting privacy.
Aveiro's partner, Jose Andrade, has delivered an update on Wednesday regarding the health of his partner.
"I have nothing to say," he told the press. "She is good, everything is good. The important thing is that she is recovering. Everyone is supporting here. Everyone is united. I was there this morning."
Aveiro was sent to intensive care after the stroke but was said to be stable and recovering well. Ronaldo returned to Italy where he partook in training on Wednesday after asking permission to fly in his private jet to be by his mother's side.
