Updates on the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases, deaths and discharged patients, both in India and worldwide.
Confirmed India coronavirus cases
As of 04:15 IST (00:45 CEST) on Monday 20 April, there had been 17,615 confirmed coronavirus cases and 559 deaths in India. 2,854 people in the country have recovered after contracting Covid-19.

Worldwide coronavirus cases
According to the latest figures published by Johns Hopkins University, 2,394,291 cases have been detected worldwide, with 164,938 deaths and 611,880 people now recovered.
No decision on Indian flights
India have made no decision on loosening restrictions on either internal of international flights yet.
“The Ministry of Civil Aviation clarifies that so far no decision has been taken to open domestic or international operations,” civil aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Saturday.
“Airlines are advised to open their bookings only after a decision in this regard has been taken by the Government”, he added.
