Who won Sunday Night Football, Week 12?
Did Rodgers’ broken toe hobble him in the Packers’ attempt to get out of a slump? Did the Patriots continue their winning streak? Here are Sunday's results.
Football during Thanksgiving was a treat for fans, and after three games played out during the holiday, there was still a lot of thrill to be expected in the Sunday matchups.
The New England Patriots were able to stretch their winning streak to six and stay in the number one spot in the AFC East by thrashing the Tennessee Titans 36-13. Aaron Rodgers blasted past his broken toe and led the Green Bay Packers to a 36-28 conquest of the Los Angeles Rams.
Let’s have a look at how the Sunday games played out.
Week 12 NFL Sunday, Nov. 28 results
Buccaneers 38 - 31 Colts
It was a huge win on the road for the Bucs, bouncing back from a 10-point half-time deficit to quash the Colts with a lot of help from Leonard Fournette’s four touchdowns. It was a great second half for Tampa where they showed playoff-caliber form.
By both getting turnovers and scoring off them, the Bucs ended up leveling their record on the road at 3-3. They have improved their tally to 8-3 at the top of the NFC South.
Jets 21 - 14 Texans
In this duel of the bottom-dwellers, the Jets made use of their defense to shut down the Texans for the last two-and-a-half quarters. New York overcame Houston and brought their win count to 3 versus 8 losses. Zach Wilson got to return to the field, but did not exhibit his best game after returning from his knee injury.
Houston now sits at the bottom of the AFC South alongside the Jaguars at 2-9.
Eagles 7 - 13 Giants
The Giants did not play a great game, but they still managed a sloppy victory over stumbling Philadelphia. The win can be attributed mostly to their defense, Julian Love and Xavier McKinney being especially effective. A clumsy day for Jalen Hurts and four turnovers prevented the Eagles from taking off.
Panthers 10 - 33 Dolphins
The Dolphins dominated the Panthers throughout the game. Carolina’s defeat fell on the shoulders of the whole team. Cam Newtown struggled for the first three quarters and saw himself benched in the fourth. Star running back Christian McCaffrey picked up yet another injury, hurting his ankle in the second quarter and being sidelined after that. Wide receiver D.J. Moore dropped two easy throws.
The Dolphins continue to rise from the bottom of AFC East and is now at third place with 5-7, while the Panthers, with a similar slate, is at the bottom of NFC South.

Steelers 10 - 41 Bengals
The Bengals humiliated the visitors, winning with the largest-ever margin of victory over the Steelers. Cincinnati sprung quickly to action and got its running game going, Joe Burrow finishing the team’s first drive by running eight yards for a touch down. Cincinnati had the superior rush numbers, 198-51.
The Bengals’ defense made short work of the Steelers’ defense, and played with a lead all through the game.
Falcons 21 - 14 Jaguars
The Falcons clinched a hard-earned victory against the Jaguars, finally winning after suffering straight losses. Cordarelle Paterson provided the offensive momentum that the team had not had in the past few games. He led Atlanta with the first two touchdowns and they never looked back from there.
Chargers 13 - 28 Broncos
The Broncos bucked the Chargers by capitalizing on their defense. Los Angeles put up a better performance in the second half but hopes of a rally were sunk by two Justin Herbert interceptions.

Vikings 26 - 34 49ers
Both teams were hoping for a chance to get a leg up in the NFC wild card race, but the Vikings were helpless against the 49ers’ running game, with error after error eventually costing them the match. Minnesota also missed their whole starting line of defense.
Browns 10 - 16 Ravens
The Ravens managed to stay on top of the AFC North rankings at 8-3 and pushed the Browns down to a 6-6 record. Tight end Mark Andrews scored the only touchdown for the Baltimore, while wide receiver David Njoku was responsible for the only one from Cleveland.
