2022 Draft: where is Browns' Jarvis Landry moving?

Jarvis Landry came to Cleveland prior to the 2018 season via a trade with the Miami Dolphins and after four seasons will now part ways with the Browns.

2022 Draft: where is Browns' Jarvis Landry moving?

With the impending arrival in Cleveland of Dallas Cowboys' Amari Cooper, the Browns have reportedly given wide receiver Jarvis Landry permission to find a new team, although it is not certain that he will leave.

Where next for Browns' Landry?

This story comes from NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, however, the same report states that if Landry wants to stay he will have to accept a lower salary in 2022, as he was slated for a $14.3 million payday.

After five Pro Bowl visits between 2015 and 2019, Landry's performances and availability has gone downhill; last year he had his worst season as a pro after recording 52 receptions for 570 yards and two touchdowns.

Landry in Cleveland

Landry became a professional athlete when he was picked up by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2014 Draft. During his time at Florida, the wide receiver made a name for himself in the NFL by racking up 4,038 yards and 22 touchdowns after catching 400 passes.

More from the NFL:

At the end of his rookie contract, the Dolphins used the franchise player tag, but he requested a trade. Miami agreed and sent him to Cleveland in exchange for fourth- and seventh-round picks in the 2018 Draft.

His Pro Bowl status held up during his first two seasons, but starting in 2020, the focus of Cleveland's offense shifted to the ground attack and his numbers declined. After Landry's four seasons in Cleveland, the wide receiver amassed 3,560 yards and 15 touchdowns.
