The year 2023 is coming to an end and with it, summaries, lists and other content that make us reflect on the past 12 months are starting to appear. The main platforms are also launching their summaries of activity, as is the case of Spotify Wrapped, or this morning Twitch with its own Recap.

The latter is not content with this and also shares the most important global data of the course, including the most watched channels in North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Below, we will take a look at the 5 creators who have established themselves as the most important in our region.

Most watched Twitch streamers in America in 2023

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that among the top 5 of the most watched channels this year we have KaiCenat - who, let’s remember, his popularity managed to cause chaos in New York in the middle of this year - or xQC, who despite having signed a contract with the competition - Kick - is still one of the most watched within Twitch. Among the rest of the content creators, we have HasanAbi, Tarik and summit1g.

Twitch vs. Kick, one of the streaming moments of 2023

Within the streaming and content services, everything looked like it was going to be very interesting and one of unbridled competition with the arrival of Kick on the scene in the middle of this year. This new platform arrived with a vengeance, with the support of Mr. Beast and Elon Musk, and, as mentioned above, by attracting some of Twitch’s greatest talent to its ranks. However, the momentum with which it arrived seems to have slowed down as the months have gone by, with Twitch also updating some of its rules. Will we see a stronger strategy for this new platform in 2024, or will the status quo be maintained?
