Nolan Arenado of the St. Louis Cardinals was named a Rawlings Gold Glove Award winner for defensive excellence for the 10th consecutive season on Tuesday. Arenado and Ichiro Suzuki are the only players in MLB history to have won a Gold Glove in their first ten seasons.

Arenado set a Cardinals franchise record with 42 double plays turned, which led all MLB third basemen. With 283 assists, he ranked second among third basemen.

Brendan Donovan, a rookie for the Cardinals, also won a Gold Glove at the utility position. It is the first time Rawlings has given an additional Gold Glove to a utility player in both the American and National Leagues.

Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers won his sixth Gold Glove, and Max Fried of the Atlanta Braves won his third in a row.
