Celebs out in force as Doncic and Lebron bring back Lakers magic
A packed Crypto.com Arena saw the LA team dig deep to beat the NY Knicks in overtime and maintain their solid winning run on Thursday.

Los Angeles Lakers recorded an eighth straight win last night at the Crypto.com Arena as they needed overtime to defeat the New York Knicks.
Recent acquisition Luka Doncic scored five of his 32 points in overtime with LeBron James adding 31 points as the Lakers rallied to extend their winning streak with a 113-109 win on Thursday.

For the visitors, Jalen Brunson scored eight of his 39 points in OT and finished with 10 assists for the Knicks, who lost their second consecutive game and dropped the opener of a five-game West Coast road trip. Alarm bells also sounded for Knicks fans as Brunson departed the court with 1:24 remaining in overtime due to a right ankle injury.
NY Knicks remain in third place in the East (40-22) as the Lakers consolidate their second place spot in the Western Conference with JJ Redick’s team in unstoppable form since Doncic’s arrival at the franchise in early February.

Celebs show up
Most games involving the Lakers see a number of high profile actors, stars from the world of sport and musicians in attendance but the team’s recent positive run and the arrival of the Slovenian have made watching the Lakers a hugely attractive proposition again.
Last night alone, the likes of: Larry David, Ben Stiller, Timothee Chalamet, Macaulay Culkin, John McEnroe, Floyd Mayweather, Don Johnson and Flea from Red Hot Chilli Peppers were all present to see the Lakers win again.
