Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry, who continues to recover from a hamstring injury, has been ruled out for Game 5 against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday (7 p.m. ET, NBA TV).

While Miami has secured a 3-1 lead over Atlanta, they suffered a blow during the fourth quarter of the Game 3 victory over the Hawks with Lowry being forced to stay out.

This will be the Heats’ second straight game without their veteran guard, who sustained the injury during Game 3. Miami is continuing to be cautious with Lowry, even if they don’t need him against Atlanta as they may need the 36-year-old if they want to make a run at the NBA Finals.
