Timberwolves update Anthony Edwards injury status
The three-time All-Star has not featured for the Minnesota Timberwolves since the home opener on October 26.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are set to welcome back Anthony Edwards to full team practice but it will be a little longer before he is ready for game action.
Edwards picked up a right hamstring strain on October 26 in the team’s home opener against the Indiana Pacers. Now in his sixth season, Edwards has been a near-constant for the Timberwolves in recent years but he will not be fit to take on the Brooklyn Nets on Monday evening.

ESPN reports that Edwards is continuing to work through his rehabilitation program this week. Coming up for the Timberwolves, games against the New York Knicks, Utah Jazz, and Sacramento Kings.
Without the three-time All-Star in the team Minnesota has lost two of the last three games, slipping to a 3-3 record. Speaking last week Minnesota head coach Chris Finch admitted that Edwards’ absence would be a major loss but he insisted that he has faith in other players to step up.
Finch said: “Of course we’re going to miss him, his ability to take over a game, put together runs, do all the special things that he can do. But we feel like we have a deep team, and this is when a deep team helps you.”
Across three games so far in 2025, Edwards has averaged 25.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
