What injury does Jaylen Brown have? How long will he be out for and when will he be recovered?
Fans of the Boston Celtics, look away. An update on the fitness of Jaylen Brown has been revealed.

A report from ESPN has emerged claiming that Jaylen Brown has suffered a partially torn meniscus, with the player said to have been playing through pain over the past weeks. The news outlet added that Brown will be evaluated this week to determine if surgery is needed. It is unclear how long it will take for him to recover.
Brown’s injury comes as another blow to the Boston Celtics, who crashed out against the New York Knicks in a 119-81 Game 6 loss, capping off a terrible semifinal series blowout.
Despite the pain, Brown was still able to put up 22.1 points and 7.1 rebounds in 36.5 minutes per game in the postseason campaign.
‘Losing the to the Knicks feels like death’
“I don’t make excuses,” Brown told reporters following Friday’s loss in New York. “Obviously, it’s tough the way we went out like tonight, but the way we finished the year, personally, the way I finished the year, persevering through some physical stuff that I was battling through, I’m proud of our group.”
“Things didn’t go our way this year, and it’s unfortunate, but we hold our head up regardless,” Brown added. ”Losing the to the Knicks feels like death, but I was always taught that there’s life after death. So we’ll get ready for whatever’s next in the journey.”
As well as Brown, the Celtics are also dealing with an injury to Jayson Tatum and Kristaps Porzingis, who mentioned a few days ago, that he has been affected again by a virus he caught in March: “I went really hard [in practice] the day before [a game against the L.A. Lakers], and right after that, I was knocked out. Like, I could not move... It’s weird, weird, weird, honestly. Super weird.”
