Will Giannis Antetokounmpo play for the Bucks today against the Nets?
The Bucks star is featured on his side’s injury list ahead of their game with the Nets.
Milwaukee Bucks star man Giannis Antetokounmpo has fans sweating over his fitness ahead of the NBA game against the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center.
Giannis played 36 minutes in the most recent game for his side, a 111-105 loss against the all-powerful Boston Celtics. In that tie, he got 1 assist, 11 rebounds and 30 points.
However, the young giant appears on the injury list and is marked down as probable for Sunday’s game against the Nets due to right patella tendinopathy, which fans will be hoping does not keep him out of action.
What is Antetokounmpo‘s record this season?
Antetokounmpo is averaging 32.5 points, 11.6 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 61% from the field in 22 games.
At this point in the season, the Bucks are sitting in 6th in the Eastern Conference, having racked up an 11-11 record so far. The Nets will prove worthy opposition, sitting just behind them in 8th with an 10-13 record, having played one game more.
Beauchamp (hamstring) is listed as probable for the game, while Johnson, Livingston, Robins and Smith are all out of action having been called to participate in the G-League. Middleton (ankle) and Prince (non-COVID illness) are both probable.
The Bucks take on the Nets in Brooklyn at Barclays Center at 3:30pm on Sunday December 8.
