Here’s everything you need to know about the Green Bay Packers’ preseason training camp.
And just like that, we’re already into the new season. It’s now ‘this’ and not ‘next’ season, and the tension is ramping up daily as the elite stars in the NFL get their preparations underway for the exciting new campaign.
The Green Bay Packers are one side already making moves. Led by Matt LaFleur, the Packers finished the 2024 season with an 11–6 record, making the playoffs as a Wild Card team. Despite a solid offence and strong defensive play, that was where their season ended, with a 22–10 loss to the Eagles.
The Green Bay Packers’ 2025 Training Camp ushers in a new era as the team celebrates its 80th camp since inception in 1946, with this year being the first under a new President and CEO, Mark Murphy.

Green Bay Packers training camp: dates, times, locations - can fans attend?
Rookies, quarterbacks, and injured players report on Friday, July 18, followed by veterans on Tuesday, July 22.
The first public practice takes place on Wednesday, July 23 at 11:30 a.m. ET at Ray Nitschke Field, with two additional open workouts on July 24 and 25.
Following a Saturday off, fans can attend four of five practices from July 27–31, and then Family Night is set to be held at Lambeau Field on Saturday, August 2 at 8:30 p.m., featuring a full-team session, fan engagement, jersey giveaways, and fireworks.
Into mid‑August, open practices continue: three more sessions from August 5–7, then another on August 12 at Ray Nitschke Field, all kicking off at 11:30 a.m. ET. The camp concludes with public practices on August 19, followed by a joint session against the Seattle Seahawks on August 21, prior to the preseason finale at Lambeau on August 23.
Throughout camp, all outdoor workouts are held at Ray Nitschke Field in the Packers’ Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin complex, while Family Night festivities take place inside Lambeau Field.

The 2025 NFL season is set to begin on Thursday, September 4, 2025, with the reigning Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL Kickoff Game. The Green Bay Packers’ first game is against the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field; it is scheduled for Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 4:25pm ET.
