The San Francisco 49ers beat the Los Angeles Rams to close out Week 4 on Monday Night Football . The Rams received a beat down, but they weren’t the only ones. A fan that ran on to the field was tackled by Los Angeles linebacker Bobby Wagner, and now the the streaker may be taking Wagner from the field to the courts.

According to information from TMZ, the fan who onto the Levi’s Stadium field filed a complaint with the Santa Cruz Police Department. Clara after being brought down by Wagner and defensive end Takkarist McKinley.

The Direct Action Everywhere initiative, the organization that claimed responsibility for the invasion of the field of play, through a representative, but indicated that they took legal action because there was a “flagrant assault” by the Rams players.

TMZ explained that a second streaker tried to enter the grid. However, the woman was detained by security before invading the field.

Wagner is justified

While the first legal actions have been taken against the Rams, Wagner explained that he decided to act against the activist as a security measure; he added that he did not know if it was just a protest or something else.

That’s not making a play, that’s just keeping it safe,” Wagner said. “You don’t know what that fan got or what they’re doing. You see it all the time, and we don’t know what they’re carrying in their pockets. It’s whatever that little smoke stuff is, but … could be dangerous.”

As of now, Wagner faces no charges for the incident.
