Green Bay’s top-ranked defense takes a hit ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the resilient Arizona Cardinals.

Packers face Cardinals missing two key players: check final injury count ahead of Week 7

The Green Bay Packers (3-1-1) will be without two major defensive contributors when they host the Arizona Cardinals (2-4) on Sunday. Defensive linemen Devonte Wyatt and Lukas Van Ness have both been ruled out, according to the team’s final injury report for Week 7.
Why are Wyatt and Van Ness not playing for Packers?
Wyatt’s knee issue and Van Ness’s foot injury kept them out of practice all week, ending hopes of a late return. Their absence breaks up a unit that has dominated statistically, allowing the fewest yards per game and ranking fifth in total points conceded.

Depth will now be critical. Third-year tackle Karl Brooks is set for an expanded workload, while Rashan Gary may slide across the line to cover some of Van Ness’s snaps. Jeff Hafley has emphasized flexibility, but losing both linemen could open up rushing lanes that Arizona’s offense will try to exploit.
On offense, receiver Christian Watson (knee) will also miss out despite returning to limited practice. Four others – Matthew Golden, Aaron Banks, Jordan Morgan, and Warren Brinson – were cleared to play after minor setbacks earlier in the week.

The Cardinals have proved stubborn opponents, however, losing four straight by a combined nine points. Fine margins.
