Which city will host the NFL Super Bowl in 2026?
Super Bowl LX will be played at the home of one current NFC team, the second time the venue will host the championship game.

The 2024 NFL season is over, with the Philadelphia Eagles crowned Super Bowl champions for just the second time thanks to their surprisingly convincing victory over the Kansas City Chiefs at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Football fans across the country, and indeed further afield, are now wondering what they’re going to do with their time now that no games are on the horizon. According to the NFL’s recent format, the Eagles will kick off the 2025 season with a home game, which will bring to an end a seemingly eternal wait.
The 2025 NFL season will start on Thursday, September 4, 2025. The regular season will run through to Sunday, January 4, 2026, with the postseason action slated to begin the following weekend on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
Super Bowl LX date and venue
As for Super Bowl LX, it will be played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
The home stadium of the San Francisco 49ers, which opened in July 2014, will host its second championship game, 10 years after its first.
Previous Super Bowls in the San Francisco Bay Area
In February 2016, the Denver Broncos won Super Bowl 50, their third in total, defeating the Carolina Panthers 24-10 at Levi’s Stadium.
Nearby Stanford Stadium, which is also in the San Francisco Bay Area, was the venue for Super Bowl XIX in January 1985, when the Niners defeated the Miami Dolphins 38-16.
