Will it snow in Kansas City on Sunday? This is the weather forecast for the Bills vs Chiefs AFC Championship game
After a snowy weekend of football, the Buffalo Bills head to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs in the AFC Conference Championship.

The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Conference Championship game this weekend with the winner earning a trip to Super Bowl LIX.
The Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans while the Bills beat the Baltimore Ravens to earn their spot in the AFC title game. As most January games go, the game this weekend is expected to be a chilly one.
Forecast for Chiefs vs Bills
Considering how snowy and freezing some NFL games can get at this time of the year, this weekend’s forecast isn’t so bad. Last week, the Bills played on a snowy field in frigid temperatures in the low teens. For the Chiefs, it wasn’t so bad. The temperatures were low, but the skies were clear.
For their game this Sunday, the Bills and Chiefs can expect another cold day. Kickoff is at 5:30 p.m. CT (6:30 p.m. ET) and the highs are expected to be around 40 degrees, but will dip to a low of 21 degrees in the evening.
Thankfully, although the forecast calls for cloudy skies, there is just a 5% chance of precipitation and winds are expected to be just 7-10 miles per hour. Weather is not expected to play a huge part in this game.
The AFC title game between the Chiefs and Bills will be broadcast on CBS and Paramount+. You can also follow along with our live text coverage of the event right here on AS USA.
