Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano will face off this Saturday at New York’s Madison Square Garden to be undisputed lightweight champion at the biggest fight in the history of women’s boxing.

The ring walks are expected to start at 10pm local time.

Ireland’s Taylor previously held the WBO light-welterweight belt and was unbeaten at 20-6. Serrano, the Puerto Rico native, goes into the event holding a record of 42-1-1.

The 33-year-old has holds titles across seven divisions, and is also a unified featherweight champion, while Taylor, 35, is an Olympic gold medalist among other titles.

Jake Paul, YouTuber-turned boxer, has been acting as Serrano’s promoter for this bout, working with her promoter Eddie Hearn.

This bout will be a tough test for the Irish boxer as she looks to take the titles from Taylor.
