Barcelona possible starting lineup against Atlético Madrid in LaLiga
The return of two midfielders, plus the possible inclusion of Ferran in the starting lineup, are the questions.
Hansi Flick will be able to recover two very important players for the match against Atlético de Madrid, with both Pedri and Frenkie de Jong expected to start.
The Canary Islander, who already played half an hour against Alavés, would return to the starting lineup more than a month after his last appearance in the Clásico on 26 October. The Dutchman would also return after missing the recent match against Alavés for personal reasons.
These are undoubtedly two pieces of good news for the German coach. Added to them is Raphinha, who will play his second match as a starter after confirming his strong performance in Saturday’s game, where he provided two assists. Joan García will also be in goal, making his third LaLiga appearance since recovering from meniscus surgery that kept him out for more than two months.
Four key players who, for one reason or another, Flick has been unable to rely on will therefore be available against Atlético. Those who will not feature are Ronald Araújo and Fermín López.
Everything suggests that Dani Olmo will partner Frenkie de Jong and Pedri in midfield, particularly after his brace against Alavés. Ferran Torres could be the major surprise in attack, flanked by Lamine and Raphinha, although it remains possible that Lewandowski could take his place.

The main doubts are in the back line. Gerard Martín could start again at left centre-back and Eric García may shift to right-back. If that happens, Jules Koundé and Andreas Christensen would begin on the bench. The other two positions appear to be settled, with Pau Cubarsí and Alejandro Balde.
