As rumours rage over his future, Kylian Mbappé took to social media with photos of his summer holiday in Florida. One snap in particular set chins wagging.
Amid speculation over a potential summer move to Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé is enjoying a well-earned end-of-season break in Miami.
The France forward took to social media on Thursday to share four photos of himself kicking back on the beaches of Florida - the perfect place for the 24-year-old to recharge his batteries before embarking on his latest attempt to lift the Champions League, the club trophy he most covets.

“That’s Miami baby,” Mbappé wrote on Instagram, in a post that has accrued well over three million ‘likes’ in the few hours since he posted it.
Wearing a white vest, a hat, sunglasses and navy-blue swimming shorts, the player can be seen soaking up the Florida sun - while his lean, muscular physique is proof that he’s still keeping himself in tip-top shape, despite being on holiday.
Of the four snaps shared by Mbappé, without doubt the most commented-upon was the first. In the photo, he is sitting on a sun lounger, talking on the phone with a business-like look on his face.
His demeanour quickly sparked suggestions among Instagram users that the person on the other end of the call is Madrid president Florentino Pérez.
Wishes Messi a happy birthday
Mbappé has remained tight-lipped about his renewed links with Madrid. In recent days, he has only come out in public on soccer matters to send his well wishes to his former PSG club-mate Lionel Messi, who has joined the MLS team based in the Frenchman’s holiday destination.
In a message marking Messi’s 36th birthday on Saturday - and written in perfect Spanish - Mbappé said to the Argentine: “Thank you for these two years together in Paris. I learned a lot from you as a player, as a team-mate, as an opponent and as a man.”
Mbappé with Madrid’s Camavinga in Morocco
Before jetting to Miami, Mbappé was in Morocco alongside several friends from the French national team. They included Dayot Upamecano, Ousmane Dembélé, Randal Kolo Muani and Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga.
Desperate to find any indication that Mbappé is poised for a summer move to the Bernabéu, many Madrid fans commenting on social media saw potential significance in Camavinga’s presence at the get-together.
