PSG are going through a period of madness. The latest controversy of the long list of incidents this summer, according to RMC is the fact that the club have left out both Neymar and Verratti from the official photo shoot for the season, which happened on Wednesday. As well as this, PSG have also told the two players that they do not see them as part of the plan for the upcoming campaign in what would signify a mammoth-sized revolutionary summer.

Both players did not feature in PSG’s training session, although it has been suggested that it was due to a potential virus and physical issues rather than anything to do with sales. Other players: Bernat, Ekitike and Renato, were also unavailble on the Media Day.

PSG say the club have made a decision on Neymar

The situation is difficult at the club given everything that is happening with Mbappé, and now Neymar and Verratti, two long-standing pillars at the club, could join the Frenchman on the list of uncertainties. According to L’Équipe, the Brazilian asked at the weekend to leave the club, although PSG themselves say it is not the player who has decided his future lies outside of the Parc de Princes and that the situation has been the same since the beginning of the year.

As for Verratti, it is a situation that has been reaching boiling point all summer long. A huge offer from Saudi Arabia set everything off and now PSG want him to accept and free up a space in the squad.

What is clear is that Al Khelaïfi has gone down a new path this summer to roads he has previously trodden. “Nobody is above the club” is what he said in Luis Enrique’s presentation and he pointed those words right at Mbappé. Now, it seems that the rest of squad has also received the same message.

What about Mbappé?

After letting Messi go, with Neymar heading for the exit door and Mbappé in exile, no player is excluded from the ruthless vision that is taking hold in Paris with Luis Enrique as the executioner.

Mbappé, as with Ney and Verratti, did not participate in the club’s annual photo session ahead of the new season. However, it turns out that the fact that the forward was not there does not, in any way, mean he is leaving the club this summer, as he will have another opportunity to show himself off in front of the camera once the transfer window closes. Until the situation is resolved, he will not take part in the group sessions, instead working alongside the other exiles at the PSG training camp as he waits to see if the unlikely situation occurs and he is called up for the Ligue 1 game against Lorient.
