The 2022 World Cup is anything but traditional. It will be the first time that the competition will be played in the month of December, in an attempt to avoid the high temperatures of the summer. Unfortunately, though, this is causing serious issues for teams and players, as an already very tight schedule is squeezed even tighter.

Which players are missing the 2022 World Cup in Qatar?

The fixtures to date in leagues around the world have generated a high number of injuries. As a result, some teams are going to be without a number of influential players, like France with N’Golo Kante, Argentina with Paulo Dybala, and Portugal with Diogo Jota.

Let’s look at the players from the top international teams who will be out for Qatar. Some players on the injury list may have a very slim chance of getting back fit for the cup, but we’ll keep them on the injury list for now, until the prognosis changes.
