Salah decision made amid fears of final Liverpool game
The Liverpool legend may have another chance at saying goodbye.

Perhaps the cruellest thing in football is that is doesn’t stop. A long day at work stops, and you go home. A fall stops when you hit the ground. Heartbreak stops when you find the one.
But football doesn’t: the perpetual engine spins and spins and never lets you breathe. Even when there is no football, there is football.
So when Mohamed Salah appeared to have played his last game for Liverpool, after over 400 appearances and more than 200 goals, all of a sudden there were no more chances to see him. An injury took him early from a game against Crystal Palace, and football didn’t stop to let fans say goodbye. This will be his last season at Liverpool after 9 years, and as quickly as it began, it was over.
Everybody take a very good look, because this could very well be the final match of Salah at Anfield, and it looks like he realizes it himself too

“Salah will return to action”
“We don’t know, that is the best answer I can give,” Slot said when asked whether or not Salah has played his final game in a Liverpool shirt. “If I say there might be a chance, that is probably all the headlines that there might be a chance so we simply don’t know but what we do know is that the season in four weeks is over.
“What I do know about Mo is he has taken so good care of his body all these years that he will have the minimum time required to recover from an injury and let’s hope for the best, that he is available in the last part.”
But it appears that there is hope. Reports emerged suggesting that Salah’s recovery from his injury was going better than expected, and shortly after, Liverpool released a statement saying that he had suffered a “minor muscle injury” and that “it is, however, anticipated Salah will return to action ahead of 2025-26’s conclusion and his departure from the Reds this summer.”
Liverpool FC can confirm Mohamed Salah is expected to be available to play again before the end of this season ℹ️
