The Mexican player is the December face of Voetbal International magazine, where he spoke about his evolution as a striker with Feyenoord in the Dutch Eredivisie

Santiago Giménez is one of the most prolific strikers currently operating major European soccer leagues. In 2023, the Mexican has bagged 31 goals in the Eredivisie wearing the red and white Feyenoord shirt and his prowess in front of goal has led to the rumour mill kicking into overdrive with speculation rife linking the former Cruz Azul player to a series of high profile Spanish clubs.

In the article, the Buenos Aires born Giménez claims that “now I feel like a true forward”. In addition to the 31 goals in the Eredivisie, the Mexican has also been on target in the Dutch Cup with three goals, the striker has also found the next once in the UEFA Europa League with two more in the UEFA Champions League for Feyenoord.
