Estados Unidos Update:

The Stars and Stripes strengthen ahead of their semifinal clash against Panama, scheduled for March 20 at 6:00 p.m. ET at SoFi Stadium.

The US team is part of a final four that also includes Mexico and Canada, who, alongside “La Marea Roja” (The Red Tide), are aiming to wrestle the title away from Mauricio Pochettino’s squad, champions since the tournament’s inception.

Fortunately for the Argentine coach, several key players are hitting their peak form, regaining top levels of performance, and standing out in Europe. Josh Sargent returned for Norwich after undergoing surgery, making his first appearance since October. He made an immediate impact, scoring twice in their 5-1 victory over Swansea.

Meanwhile, Tyler Adams has solidified his position as a cornerstone of Bournemouth’s recent winning streak, ranking among the best defensive midfielders in Europe’s top leagues. Johnny Cardoso has also played every possible minute for Real Betis this year, steadily establishing himself in La Liga.

In Liga MX, Alex Zendejas continues to impress, netting a brace in the latest matchday and emerging as one of Club América’s most crucial playmakers. Add to this the brilliance of Christian Pulisic, who scored again, Ricardo Pepi, who keeps finding the back of the net whenever given minutes, and Yunus Musah, who contributed with an assist.

United States: defending dominance

Since the tournament’s creation in 2019, the United States has leveraged its home advantage to claim the title in all three editions held so far. Mexico has been the runner-up twice, while Canada advanced to the final in the remaining edition.
