USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter has named his squad for the upcoming pair of games against Trinidad & Tobago in the Concacaf Nations League.
The coach returned for a second stint after some time away from the national team and now looks ahead to an important period in the history of the side, with crucial tournaments coming up for a generation of players who many say could be the best ever. The Copa América begins in 2024 and after that there is the small matter of the 2026 World Cup, which is to be played on home soil.

However, ahead of those crucial calendar dates, the USMNT have many games to play, the most pressing being a pair of Nations League matches against Trinidad & Tobago. The 2006 World Cup side finished 2nd in their Nations League group and now go up against the 2022 World Cup Round of 16 finalists in what will undoubtedly be two tough ties.
For the games, Gregg Berhalter has named his 24-player USMNT squad, with plenty of familiar faces and a few surprises. Liga MX stars such as Alejandro Zendejas and Julián Quiñones have been included, as well as Brenden Aaronson and his brother, Paxten. The squad is full of top form, with Serie A leader Weston McKennie included on the list after top performances for Juventus in Italy.

The first game between USMNT and Trinidad and Tobago will be played on Thursday 16 November with kick off at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. The return game between Trinidad & Tobago and the USMNT will be played at Hasely Crawford Stadium, on Monday 20 November 2023, with kick-off at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.
