For the first time ever the English top flight has organised a summer competition in the United States. Here’s all the information you need to get tickets.

Six Premier League clubs will take part in a new pre-season tournament to be held in the United States, the league confirmed on Tuesday.

After months of speculation Premier League chief Richard Masters announced that Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Fulham and Newcastle United will compete in the competition.

“We are delighted to be bringing six clubs to the USA in July for the first-ever Premier League Summer Series tournament,” Masters said.

“We are currently enjoying one of the most competitive Premier League seasons of all time at both ends of the table and I am sure we will see some thrilling matches during the tournament.”

Where will the Summer Series matches be held?

The six-team tournament will see each of the clubs involved play three matches, with a total of nine fixtures across nine days.

Games will be held in five stadiums across the east coast of the United States, between Saturday 22 and Sunday 30 July. Those stadiums are:

- Lincoln Financial Field Stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

- Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia

- Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Florida

- Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey

- FedEx Field in Summerfield, Maryland

In addition to the games, the Premier League statement confirmed that there will be training camps and other events available for supporters:

“The tournament will comprise high-profile matches and pre-season training camps, and will be supported by a range of events for fans and local community groups.”

How to buy tickets for the Premier League Summer Series

This is the first time that the Premier League has held a pre-season tournament in the United States and there is expected to be considerable interest in the tickets. The 2023/24 Premier League season will begin on Saturday 12 August, meaning that fans will be able to see the teams on the last leg of their pre-season preparations.

The Premier League has confirmed that tickets will be available via pre-sale on Tuesday 25 April, before going on general sale on Wednesday 26 April.
