Will we see Casemiro line-up with Messi, De Paul and Berterame at Inter Miami?
The Brazilian is set to depart Manchester United after four seasons with the Premier League giants and appears Miami bound.

Brazilian central player Casemiro appears set to join Inter Miami. Major breaking reports over the last 24 hours from transfer experts like Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein confirm that the 34-year-old Brazilian midfielder is in the final stages of sealing a move to David Beckham’s MLS club.

The 34-year-old is preparing to play his final match for Manchester United this Sunday away at Brighton, concluding a four-year stint at Old Trafford that finished on a high note, scoring 9 goals this past season and helping secure a 3rd-place Premier League finish.
There are two small obstacles to be negotiated before the Brazilian can join the MLS side however.
Galaxy “Discovery Rights”
Under the MLS unique roster rules, the LA Galaxy currently hold Casemiro’s “Discovery Rights” because they placed him on their scouting list first and have already had extensive transfer talks with him. To officially sign him, Inter Miami will have to pay a financial fee or trade general allocation money to the Galaxy to buy out those rights—similar to how Charlotte FC was compensated when Marco Reus moved to LA.
Designated Player (DP) sudoko
Inter Miami currently does not have an open Designated Player slot available. Their three high-wage DP slots are completely full. To make the move work financially while staying within the strict MLS salary cap guidelines, Casemiro will reportedly take a massive initial salary reduction—dropping down below $2 million (€1.7m)—with a structured contract pathway to inherit a DP slot down the line.

In the meantime the Brazilian will be setting his sights on the forthcoming World Cup having been called up this week for the squad by Italian head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
