New coach for Singapore youth team at 2019 SEA Games
Singapore football celebrity Fandi Ahmad named by the Football Association of Singapore.

Taking over in 2018, Fandi Ahmad will start a three-year plus three contract starting in 2018 for the Asean Games.
The announcement, by FAS Vice President Edwin Tong, was made during a media conference yesterday (Oct 4), dissipating rumors that were pointing him on Malaysia Super League side Pahang FA.
Fandi said: 'I still want to coach the national team but maybe in four or five years when this project is over'.
Richard Tardy, national youth coach, will continue in charge of the 13-to-18-year old, as Fandi will work with the 18-to-23.
