Sevilla sporting director Ramón Rodríguez Verdejo, better known as Monchi, is close to completing a deal to join AS Roma in the summer, according to reports in Italy.
Sky Sports and Corriere dello Sport say Monchi has been holding talks with Roma chiefs in London to finalise the terms of his appointment at the Serie A club.

Monchi to be appointed on three-year agreement
And it's believed that the 48-year-old, who has been Sevilla's transfer mastermind since 2000, is to put pen to paper with the Giallorossi imminently.
He is expected to sign an initial three-year contract with the Italian capital outfit.
