Real Madrid: Fans urge Florentino Pérez to resign in Getafe draw
It is the second time in as many away games that Real Madrid supporters have expressed their displeasure with Los Blancos' club president.
Fans called for the resignation of Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez during Los Blancos' goalless LaLiga draw at Getafe on Thursday night.
"Florentino, go now", say Real Madrid fans
Shortly before half time at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, supporters unfurled a banner reading "Florentino vete ya" ("Florentino, go now"), with stadium security staff then moving quickly to confiscate the item.
Second anti-Pérez banner in under two weeks
It is the second Madrid away game in a row that has seen fans express their unhappiness with Pérez, as the 13-time European champions head for their first season without major silverware since 2014/15.
In a 1-1 draw at Leganés 10 days ago, a banner was displayed with the message "Florentino culpable" ("Florentino, you're to blame").
