Zinedine Zidane finally receieved the news he has been waiting for since the start of the season when the Real Madrid manager was informed that Eden Hazard is finally ready to make his debut for the club against Levante, Real’s first Liga assignment after the international break.

The Belgium star dropped out of Roberto Martínez squad for the Euro qualifiers upon realizing he was still struggling with the hamstring problem he picked up in pre-season that has prevented him from playing for Madrid after completing a 100 million euro move from Chelsea in the close season.

Now, Hazard looks set to give Real fans their first taste of his skill-set when the Frogs visit the Bernabéu on Saturday 14 September (13:00 CEST).

The season has not started well for Madrid - although Gareth Bale’s renaissance has come as a welcome surprise for Madridismo after it appeared the Welshman would be off in the summer – with Zidane’s side sitting in fifth after a return of one win and two draws from their opening three games and a mounting injury list causing the Bernabéu boss some difficult tactical decisions.

However, both Brahim Díaz, who enjoyed plenty of action under the Frenchman towards the end of last season, and James Rodríguez, another former outcast who has been welcomed back into the fold, also completed the first half of Friday’ session and should be back in contention for a place against Levante.

Isco and Marco Asensio remain sidelined, with the winger expected to miss the majority of the season with a torn ACL and meniscus.
